Two Fowler, Indiana men are now formally charged with 3-counts of murder in the death of a man found dead in a burning Fowler home December 6. 42-year-old Duane Muse and 43-year-old Rhett Martin are accused in the killing of 60-year-old Daniel Riegle. Riegle's body was found in his home at 103 N. Polk Street. A State Police investigation revealed Riegle had been shot to death and then an accelerant was used to start the house on fire. Investigators and a K-9 found the accelerant had been spread throughout the house.
Muse and Martin's murder charge counts are enhanced by the "use of a firearm." Both men are jailed in Benton County.
