The Chicago Bears open training camp next week in Bourbonnais. And tonight, the Kankakee Area Chamber of Commerce kicks off the 2019 football camp with “Friday Night Lights.” It’s a welcome Bears celebration.

The fun is right behind the Brickstone Brewery in Bourbonnais. Chamber Executive Director Emily Poff says all are welcome, fun competition and kids events too.

The Bears report to Olivet Nazarene University Thursday 7/25. The first practice session is two days later. Admission to open practices is Free.

Today’s Friday Night Lights, Poff says, involves voting for favorites, a Kids Zone with lot of activities, and musical entertainment.
