The Iroquois County Fairgrounds will serve as the funeral setting for long-time Fair Board president Marvin Perzee of Ashkum. He died last Wednesday morning, the day this year’s fair opened for its 2019 run. Perzee served as Fair president since 1972.

Visitation and a funeral service is scheduled for Thursday 7/25 in the 4-H building at the fairgrounds, north of Crescent City. Visitation will run 2-5 pm. A funeral service is at 5 pm. Visitation will resume after the funeral. Burial is planned Friday 7/26 at the Danforth Reformed Cemetery.
