Today (Thursday) is National Rural Health Day.  And Gibson Area Hospital & Health Services is again applauded as one of the nation's best rural hospitals. 

The Chartis Center of Rural Health and the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health for overall excellence in Patient Perspectives points to GAHHS as beinbg in the top quartile in performance. CEO Rob Schmitt says the award represents another example of the staff, physicians, volunteers and board living the mission and vision of GSHHS.
