35-year-old Christina Pundt of Georgetown was pronounced dead at the scene of a single car crash Sunday.

Vermilion County Coroner Peggy Johnson said it appeared the woman lost control of her vehicle on loose gravel, south of Fairmount. The accident happened just after 1 pm on County Road 1100 North near 700 East.

A passenger was transported to Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville. The investigation continues by County Sheriff's Police and the Coroner's Office.
