The Women’s Choice Award has named Gibson Area Hospital in Gibson City one of America’s 100 best hospitals for patient experience, orthopedics and obstetrics.

The patient experience award signifies that Gibson Area Hospital is ranked within the top 100 hospitals of similar size, based on their number of beds, for patient experience. With four size categories, there were 400 patient experience award recipients.  The orthopedics award signifies that Gibson Area Hospital is in the top 7 percent of the 4,728 U.S. hospitals offering orthopedics services. Gibson Area Hospital was one of 342 award recipients.  The obstetrics award signifies that Gibson Area Hospital is in the top 9 percent of the 4,728 U.S. hospitals offering obstetrics. Gibson Area Hospital was one of 426 award recipients.
