Gibson Area Hospital's Baby Central welcomed the first 2019 newborn this week.  Harper Ann Hills arrived at 2:20 pm Monday (Jan 7).  She checked in a 6 pounds, 15 ounces and measured 20 inches in length. Harper's parents are Jaymee Smith and Danny Hills of Hoopeston.

Dr. Doug Lanoue made the delivery.  The hospital OB Department and the Gibson Area Hospital Administration provided some welcome gifts for young Harper and her parents.

Mom, Jaymee, expressed her gratitude to the nurses at Baby Central for their support and personal attention during her labor and delivery.
