Gibson Area Hospital Baby Central welcomed Landon James Pecchenino as the first baby of 2017. Landon arrived Monday, January 2 at 4:38 pm. He weighed 6 pounds 15 ounces and measuring 20 ½ inches long.

Landon is the first child for parents Lorraine Maxson and Andrew Pecchenino of Gilman, Illinois. Landon was delivered by Dr. Bernadette Ray.

The Gibson Area Hospital Administration, Baby Central OB Department, and Auxiliary congratulated the new family with a gift basket and gift bag. Among the variety of baby supplies they received were receiving blankets, soft plush toys, and a Halo SleepSack, as well as Gibson Area Chamber of Commerce Gibson Bucks.
