In Ford County --- Gibson City officials announced this (Monday) morning that all water restrictions in town have been lifted.

The recent rains have rectified the dry, drought conditions. More showers and T-storms are yet to come.  City officials first announced that water restrictions were put in place due to the ground water levels declining.

Several other city, township and county governments had similar restrictions in place. Burn bans are also going away, but fire officials also ask anyone involved with controlled-burns to notify officials ahead of time and exercise caution with windy conditions.
