Governor Announces Rebuild Illinois Grants

Governor JB Pritzker announced (Tuesday) fourth round funding of $250-million dollars for the Rebuild Illinois program. The money is being made available to advance municipal, township, and county projects across the state.

“Already, our Rebuild Illinois plan has improved over 3,000 miles of highways, completed over 180 bridges and launched hundreds more projects. Rebuild Illinois isn’t just about building gleaming new state roads and bridges, it’s also about fixing local infrastructure that makes a big difference in people’s daily lives.”

The Governor made the announcement during a stop in Champaign.  The fourth round disbursements of state funds are also being released to other municipalities and townships across several counties.
