20-year-old Dayton Roy of Grant Park suffered fatal injuries in a one-car crash Saturday. The Kankakee County Coroner’s Office said Roy was a passenger in a vehicle that ran off the road and hit a pole. Illinois State Police, Bradley Police, Kankakee County Sheriff deputies and EMS answered the call to 4000 E and 2766 N Road in Kankakee County.

Bradley Police later reported the arrest of the driver of the car. Victor Apted is charged with Reckless Homicide.

Bradley Polcie reported they’d received two traffic complaints in reference to the car prior to the accident.
