Illinois Republican gubernatorial candidate Dan Rutherford will be holding a 'Meet and Greet' event at the Hoopeston American Legion on Sunday, November 3rd. The event runs from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. The event is free and the public is welcome.

On Monday, November 4th, Rutherford will be the guest speaker at a Vermilion County GOP Breakfast. The event is at the Turtle Run Banquet Center in Danville. It begins at 7:30 am.

Vermilion County GOP Chairman Mike Marron hopes for a good turnout. ''As we head into campaign season, we want to make sure that candidates know that Vermilion County is a 'must stop' destination,'' says Marron.
