Kankakee Police detectives are investigating a shooting incident on W. Station Street Wednesday afternoon. Reports of up to a dozen shots rang out in the 300-block. No one was hit by the gunfire, but one person was hit by a car during the suspect’s get-away.
The search for the gunman continues.

Kankakee Police also reported a second shooting (Wednesday) on South Nelson Avenue.
