A motorcycle crash in Newton County, Indiana killed a Wheatfield, Ind. 40-year-old Chad Scolley was pronounced dead at the scene Sunday. Scolley's wife, Teresa, a passenger on the cycle, was hospitalized in Kankakee.

The driver of a pickup truck, also involved in the accident, was not injured.

Sheriff's Police report emergency personnel were dispatched to State Road 14 at County Road 250W at Morocco.

Police reported Scolley was thrown from his Harley Davidson motorcycle after the bike collided with a truck driven by 20-year-old Ezra Myers of Morocco.

The pickup truck driven by Myers was attempting to make a left turn off Route 14 onto 250W Road when Scolley tried to pass the truck, according to a press release. The vehicles collided, throwing the husband and wife from the bike.
