The Old Courthouse Museum in Watseka is the setting this weekend for the popular Harvest Daze gathering. It's the annual fundraiser for the upkeep of the 100-year-old plus courthouse building on Cherry Street. Vendors will be displaying wares on the courthouse lawn, with music and other entertainment. Cod fish sandwiches are served Friday beginning at 4 pm. The Harvest Daze activities are Saturday and Sunday.
An opening day ceremony at 9 am Saturday includes the presentation of colors. The Red Barn is featured with Crafters and Vendors on the museum grounds. A Car Show and the Slow Boys Tractor Show are also featured events. "Fun with Pumpkins" is the theme for a pumpkin contest. Contact the museum for details and registration.
