Rumors circulated last week that the Kankakee County Health Department is a testing site for COVID-19.  That is NOT the case. Only hospitals are stesting for COVID-19... and that's for those people with high-priority indicators.

Health officials have stated since the start of the Coronavirus, that those with symtoms should call their primary care provider. The provider will recommend if testing is needed.  Also, people are encouraged to call ahead if you have flu-like symtoms.  Don't show up un-announced at the doctor's office or ER.
