The body of a man found burned to death in a pickup truck near Herscher last month has been identified.

17-year-old Cody Rattin of Herscher was identified by the Kankakee County Coroner’s office. DNA samples helped with the investigation.

The truck was discovered on fire near a barn October 17th. The truck was found at 13000 W and 7500 S Roads.
