The shooting death of a 21-year-old Pembroke Township man is under investigation. Kankakee County Sheriff’s Police and Kankakee County Coroner’s office are investigating the death of Deric Wren III.

The Daily-Journal reported Wren’s body was found near two businesses on South Mains Street in Hopkins Park. He was pronounced dead at 10:30 Tuesday night. Deputies were called at 9:21 pm for a report of shots fired.
