It’s been a part of the Hoopeston business community for more than 31 years. Now the owners say it’s time to retire.

Henning’s Restaurant will close its doors October 27th. Owners Dan & Shirley say the popular Route 1 eatery has been a place where friends of many genres have mingled for a long time. It’s been a family of friends for years, they say. The closing comes with mixed emotions.
