Voters in Hoopeston elected a new mayor.  Tracy Carter defeated Jeff Wise 445 to 282.  Carter had 61% of the vote while Wise received 39% support.

Jeffrey Orr won the Piper City Presidency contest defeating Steven Bukowski 67 to 33%$.  Orr collected 120 votes to 60 for Bukowski.

Long-time Gibson City Mayor Dan Dickey was an easy winner for re-election. The 20-year veteran mayor won 78% of the voter support with a 475-137 decision over challenger Sarah Sarantakos. 

Kankakee County has new mayoral faces in Bourbonnais and Manteno, while Chris Curtis earned another 4-year term in the City of Kankakee.  Curtis defeated Genevra Walters 67 to 37%.

Citizens Party candidate Jeff Keast defeated David Zinanni, the Peopl's Choice mayoral candidate.  Keast collected 60% of the vote.

In Manteno - Annette LaMore representing the Manteno Freedom Party was a winner over village board trustee Joel Gesky.
