Hoopeston man gets prison time for arson

In Vermilion County Court ... a Hoopeston man received a 10 year prison sentence in an arson case. 27-year-old James Brayboy pleaded guilty to residential arson, weapons charges and criminal trespass. The felony arson charge brought the 10 year term.  Brayboy also pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a weapon-no FOID card, a class 3 felony, and he was sentenced to two years in prison for a felony rap of criminal damage to property. All of the sentences will be served concurrently.
