A Hoopeston man died in an accident Monday on Illinois Route 1, south of Hoopeston.  Another Hoopeston resident was seriously injured when the vehicle they were in rolled several times. Illinois State Police and the Vermilion County Coroner are investigating.  The victim killed is identified as 33-year-old Charlie Dickerson !!!.   24-year-old Desire Welch was seriously injured.  Both were ejected when the vehicle left the roadway.
