The first full week of August finds the hot, humid weather with stuffy nights continuing. Scattered rain showers won't cool things down too much. Today (Monday), we'll experience temps around 88. Daytime temps in the mid and upper 80s are also saddled with a heat index in the triple digits.
Over the next seven days, the NWS reports any liklihood for rain will be minimal at best for Tuesday or Wednesday. A cold front may pass thru Tuesday, but it's not expected to bring too mcuh of a chance for rain. Any rain will remain off to the north, with a chance of stronger storms.
