A vacant house exploded last evening in Georgetown. No injuries were reported when the explosion destroyed a home.  Neighbors said it was vacant.  The cause is being investigated by local authorities and the Illinois State Fire Marshall.  The explosion left debris hanging from trees and also blew out windows at a home next door. A Hal-dozen fire departments were at the scene.
