Kankakee County is taking advantage of a skilled communications person with the recent hire of Jasmyne Humble.  She's the communications director, announced by the Board Chairman Andy Wheeler at Tuesday's board meeting.  It's a newly-created position in county government.  Humble brings a wealth of experience to the position, Wheeler said.

Humble was marketing and communications coordinator for the City of Kankakee since August 2019, but newly-elected mayor Chris Curtis did not retain her position when he took office in May.
