Several crashes shut down the northbound lanes of Interstate 65 in northern Tippecanoe County today. Indiana State Police report the ice was a factor in at least four of the mishaps.

The main closure was near the State Road 43 exit. Traffic was backed up farther than State Road 25 to the south.
No injuries were reported in any of the crashes Tuesday morning.

County roads in neighboring Benton, Warren, and newton Counties were posing slippery conditions as well.
