A Chatsworth woman was injured in a collision Friday in Champaign.  27-year-old Sahira Fnu of Chatsworth was injured (Friday) when her westbound car rear-ended a trailer on Interstate 74 in Champaign.

Fnu was taken to a hospital. Her injuries were not life-threatening.

She was ticketed for not wearing her seat belt, failure to reduce speed to avoid a traffic crash and having no valid insurance.

Illinois State Police investigated just west of the I-57 ramp.

The semi's driver, Jacob Fehr, 29, of Manitoba, Canada, was slowing for traffic backed up at a construction area.
