ICPHD announces hiring of new administrator

The Iroquois County Board of Health is announcing its hiring of a new public health administrator.  Robin Allen brings a wealth of experience in public administration to her now job.  She's expected to begin her new position November 1.

A press rlease from the Board of Health states Ms Allen is enthusiastic to support the Iroquois County Public Health mission and its community impact.

Robin Allen is former fiscal director at the Illinois Department of Human Services - Shapiro Center in Kankakee.  She accepted the administrator position after a final interview with the Board of Health October 2. 

Allen, from the Momence area, holds multiple degrees, including a master’s in biology and an MBA, reflecting a diverse academic background. She remains actively involved in community service by participating in the Animal Outreach program at Olivet Nazarene University and by serving as a guest speaker for the Nature Conservancy.
