The Illinois Department of Transportation informs motorists the southbound I-57 exit and entrance ramps at the Route 45/32 interchange (exit 308) in Kankakee will be closed during overnight hours starting Tuesday, September 14. Work crews will be milling and paving the ramps. 

The closures will be all week long from midnight to 5 am.  Also, paving on southbound I-57 from the Kankakee River to the Chebanse Interchange is wrapping up today (Monday) and work will shift to focus on the northbound lanes.  Motorists can expect delays and should allow extra time.
