IDOT to tour state for public input on infrastructure needs

Illinois Transportation and Capital Development Board officials are hitting the road to chat with Illinoisans to find out what investments they'd like to see when it comes to infrastructure.

The so called listening sessions will help both agencies determine what's needed to keep Illinois competitive in a 21st century global economy. Information generated by the meetings will be used to create a comprehensive package of recommendations for Governor Bruce Rauner.

Future dates for community events will be made public in the days to come at Idot.Illinois.gov.
