Governor Bruce Rauner has announced $16-million in agriculture grants for Illinois communities. The money includes six-million dollars for Soil & Water Conservation Districts. There's also money for educational programs thru tzhe U of I Extension Service. 

The reamining five-million dollars is for county fairs.  More than $54,000 will go to 92 county fairs around the state for operations and maintenance.
