Polls are open in Illinois.  It's Primary Election day !  Citizens can cast their ballot at their respective site.  Polls are open 'til 7 pm.

Iroquois County voters have a contested race for County Board in District 4 -- four seeking three available seats.  Select voters also have a referendum question to create an Iroquois County River Conservancy District.

Kankakee County voters have several referendum question, including tax hikes for fire districts and to expand the existing Kankakee River Conservancy District.

Election officials say disinfectants are being used to protest against the COVID-19 virus.
