Indiana State Police report the arrest of a 45-year-old West Chicago man following  a  police pursuit in Jasper and Lake County, IN.  Thomas Sanhamel faces several charges after he's said to have rammed three police squad cars.  Three sheriff deputies were treated for minor injuries.  The Lake County Prosecutor's Office is reviewing charges.

A citizen report of a driver traveling at just 5 mph led to an attempted stop but the driver fled the scene. Unsuccessful atttempts to stop the get-away vehicle included the use of stop-sticks.  The suspect rammed squad cars four times until it became disabled.
