Illinois man arrested after reported 'road rage' incident in Indiana

A Country Club Hills (IL) man is facing charges after he allegedly shot a gun at another vehicle in Jasper County, IN Friday.  19-year-old Dwayne Lumont Johnson Jr. is charged with attempted murder, Aggravated battery, battery with a deadly weapon, and criminal recklessness.  Johnson was arrested by Indiana State Police following the incident along I-65 near the Rensselaer exit.  Two others in the car with Johnson were not charged. The driver of the vehicle who was shot was treated at a Lafayette hospital.  Police report he'll be OK.

A driver called 9-1-1 saying he had been shot by a man in another vehicle while southbound on I-65 about 8:15 pm.  The caller provided State Police at Lowell with a description of the vehicle. A stop was made.  Police located a 9 mm Glock handgun inside the vehicle
