A good part of northern Illinois and northwest Indiana can expect several inches of snow Wednesday.  The National Weather Service says heavy snow is possible, six to seven inches in portions of central and nothern Illinois.  The NWS also says northwest Indiana from the Chicago border to Elkhart County will take the brunt of the storm.  The Wednesday night and Thursday morning commutes will be difficult to dangerous.
