The Illinois State Board of Education is asking parents to see of they qualify for free or reduced price school lunches. The USDA, which runs the program, released new eligibility guidelines this month. A family of four can make up to $32,630 dollars a year and get free lunches. A family of four can make $46,435 dollars a year and get reduced prices for lunch. Questions can be directed to the child's school.
Noblesville's Hero Teacher Throws Out First Pitch At Cubs Game
The story of the man known as Noblesville's hero teacher is now reaching a wider audience. Jason Seaman was invited to throw the first pitch for the Chicago Cubs game at Wrigley Field yesterday. He wore his own jersey with the number 18 on it. The honor came after Seaman stopped a school shooter at Noblesville West Middle School back in May.
