Miss Iroquois and Ford County Fair Queen’s Lyndsey Neukomm and Kaiti Zbinden will compete in state competition at the Crown Plaza Convention Center in Springfield.

Lyndsey, from Cissna Park, is the daughter of Walt Neukomm and Charlene Neukomm. She’s a 2016 grad of Cissna Park High School and attending Parkland College.

Kaiti is from Gibson City. She’s home-school graduate, graduated from Parkland College and now attends Illinois State University, pursuing a degree in Agribusiness and Ag Communications and Leadership.

Up t 71 county fair queens will compete for scholarship money and the winner will represent Illinois at the State Fair and DuQuoin State Fair.
