Illinois' circuit court proceedings are on hold per a directive from the Center for Disease Control (CDC). The state Supreme Court issued a memo recommending courts follow the directive to avoid large gatherings and practice 'social distancing.' The 11th, 13th and 21st Districts are following the lead to postpone civil and criminal cases for a 30-day period. The directive runs today (March 17) thru Friday, April 17th. Limited matters will proceed.
