Newton County Sheriff's Police reported a personal injury accident Thursday on U.S. 41 at State Road 14.  A 68-year-old Monticello, IL woman failed to yield the right-of-way while eastbound on County Road 100 N.  Her car collided with a northbound Peterbilt Semi driven by a 61-year-old Morocco, IN man.  Police reported the female driver was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.   The truck driver was evaluated at the scene.  The accident happened at 9:45 am.
