Iroquois Memorial Hospital celebrated National Volunteer Week, with a special reception at Celebrations on Thursday, April 16th. The event included a hospital update by CEO Chuck Bohlmann.
Individuals earning awards were greeted and thanked individually by Chuck Bohlmann, and IMH Board of Trustee members – Roger Dittrich, Board President along with Rhonda Pence and Mel Ward.
"Thank you does not seem sufficient for all the ways in which Volunteers contribute to Iroquois Memorial. From the many services they provide each day to their frequent acts of kindness that lift the spirits of patients, visitors and staff daily. Volunteers influence the organization in a very positive way," said Terri Fanning, IMH Director Volunteers. "The reception was a small token of our heartfelt thanks to our Volunteers." A total of 11,776 hours of volunteer time was documented in calendar year 2014.
