Indiana storm damage

Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb visirted several counties and declared State of Emergency declarations following sterm damage reports from Friday's weather.  Sullivan and Johnson counties have clean-up operations underway.  Three people were killed in Sullivan County by a tornado.  There were reports of 200 structures affected by storm damage and up to 150 of those structures were in the city of Sullivan.

Two campers were killed by storms that impacted Owen County, IN.  They were found at McCormick's Creek State Park Saturday.  Search and rescue efforts were underway at the campground due to the stormy weather. The victims were identifed as 53-year-old Brett Kincaid and 47-year-old Wendy Kincaid.  

The NWS has reported five tornado touchdowns in the state.  Storm damage across the Indiana-listening area remains in the wake of Friday night's severe weather. Several residents in Clinton, Benton, and White Counties woke up to property damage and no power on Saturday.
Emergency agencies are reporting downed trees and debris in roadways. Several limbs came to rest on busy streets and on power lines. Some trees even uprooted. Power poles are leaning with downed lines.

In Benton County, a foundation is all that is left of an Oxford barn. Just down the road from that barn, roads were blocked due to downed power lines. The poles swaying in the strong winds on Saturday.

White County saw widespread damage. Parts of what appears to be a garage-like structure on top of vehicles and in trees just south of Wolcott.  Farm fields are littered with wood, metal, and other building material.  he Remington Case IH farm equipment building sustained visible damage. Buildings are damaged in Merrilville, IN
