Indiana traffic stop leads to 20 pounds of spice

A traffic stop by Indiana State Police uncovered 20 pounds of spice and led to one arrest. Police say the investigation continues.

A vehicle was stopped Wednesday just before 3:45 pm on State Road 18.

32-year-old Toby Gregory of Brookston was stopped for speeding. State police report an “odor of drugs” was coming from the vehicle.

The trooper determined suspicious criminal activity and a search revealed about 20 pounds of spice inside the vehicle.

Gregory was arrested and taken to the White County Jail. He has been charged with dealing synthetic marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, possession of synthetic drugs.
