Iroquois County: 3 men arrested for armed robbery of Gilman McDonald’s

Two former Iroquois County men are among three people arrested for the December 28th armed robbery of the McDonald’s in Gilman. The trio attempted to rob the Gilman business again Tuesday morning.

All three also were identified in armed robberies in Urbana and Savoy, in addition to the Gilman incident.

Iroquois County Sheriff’s Police report the three suspects are in custody. They were arrested Wednesday in Champaign.
19-year-old Tyran Mueller and 19-year-old Lucas Martinez, both of Savoy, and 21-year-old Trevaughn Brownlee of Savoy are accused in the incidents. Mueller is a former Gilman resident. Martinez had been from Onarga.

Charges include: armed robbery, aggravated robbery, burglary, theft, aggravated assault, aggravated battery and attempted aggravated robbery.
