The Iroquois County Historical Society’s 50+ Golden Wedding Anniversary celebration is coming up on Sunday, April 23 at 1pm. The event will be held at First Christian/Living Hope Church on 546 N. Sixth Street, Watseka.

This free event is for any couple in Iroquois County – or those who spent the majority of their married lives in the county – who are celebrating 50 or more years of marriage during 2017.

The Historical Society is also still taking submissions of stories and recipes as part of their 50th Anniversary Celebration.
