...Oxford hosts Dan Patch Days festival
Weekend events in the listening-area includes “Dan Patch Days” in Oxford, Indiana. The Benton County town recognizes Dan Patch, a world-famous horse born and raised in Oxford by the Messner family. The festival honors the iconic pacer and his accomplishments.
The festival began Friday at Rommel Park.
Activities includes food vendors, music and tours of the birth place of Dan Patch. There is no cost to get in. It’s sponsored by the Lions Club.
A parade will take place on Sunday right before the festival wraps up.
