The Iroquois County Board held a special session Friday to make a decision on the lease contract for the county farm.

The board unanimously approved the bid of Zach Borchers of Gilman for $347 an acre. The contract is for 1 year as of now due to the short time frame for approval. The Management Services Committee will have to decide if they want to extend it to 2 or 3 years.
