                                       Truth & Taxation hearing set

Projected revenues and expenses are separated by mere pocket change in the new Fiscal Year 2025 budget in Iroquois County. The County Board (Tuesday) formally gave its approval to the spending plan, endorsed by members last month.

At the same time, the Board scheduled a Truth & Taxation hearing for December 3rd.  Numbers show a 12.3 percent increase over last year.  The Truth & Taxation hearing, in the County Board room, welcomes the public and other governmental bodies.

Projected revenues in the budget are listed at $7,619,215.  Projected expenses in the General Fund are at $7,615,901.  The General Fund shows an overall increase of 8 % over the 2024 budget.
