A balanced budget is expected to be approved by the Iroquois County Board next Tuesday (11/12).
Numbers were reviewed, on file for the last month, and now ready for the new fiscal year on December 1st.
Finance committee Chairman Kevin Hansen points to some matters that have to be watched. The financial situation with the 9-1-1 / ETSB budget is an issue that the county and city of Watseka will need to monitor in the event budgeted-monies run out.
Hansen said "we have issues out there to pay attention to, but the proposed-budget looks pretty good to me."
