WATSEKA — The value of teaching young people how to respond to emergency situations goes without question. Organizers of Camp 9-1-1 in Iroquois County hope other people see the value.
Funding is needed to help support the annual Camp 911 program. The event teaches safety techniques to second- and third-graders in Iroquois County during the month of September. This year’s camp will focus on fire safety.
Camp 911 organizers are asking for donations. The camp is funded entirely by donations.
Anyone interested in donating can send donations to Camp 911, 1001 E. Grant St., Watseka, IL 60970. For more information, contact Nita Dubble at 815-432-6956.
