Iroquois County Fairgrounds welcomes vaccine customers

Walk-ins are welcome for today's (Monday) COVID-19 vaccination clinic.  The Illinois National Guard partners with the Iroquois County Public Health Department in the distribution of the vaccine until 6 pm.  The Moderna vaccine is available for those 18 and older at the 4-H Center building.  The second dose will be available May 17 at the fairgrounds. 

Ford County makes the Moderna vaccine available Tuesday at the Roberts Gym.  The hours are 8:30 am until 1 pm.  The second shot is distributed May 18.  Individuals should be available on both dates.   Call the Paxton office for an appointment 217-379-9281.  The Kempton Legion Hall also hosts a clinic Wednesday, April 28 from 8:30 - 1 pm.  The second in the series of shots is May 26 same hours.

A 3-day mass vaccination clinic in Kankakee is Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week at the Kankakee First Church of the Nazarene.  The county health department has more details.  The second shots are distributed there May 18, 19th and 20th.
